The MATelec HydroTOUCH FPC-43420-C brings controlled sequencing to four 2.2 kW sewage pumps and uses a 16 bar pressure transducer for live feedback. This panel manages the operation of quad-pump configurations using a three-phase power supply of 400 Vac at 50 Hz. The unit maintains consistent flow, pressure, or level based on real-time feedback from connected analog transducers and digital switches.
Motor frequency is controlled using PID speed control in pressure, flow and temperature modes, or proportional speed control in level mode. To eliminate high starting currents and minimize pipeline water hammer, the control panel executes staggered pump starting and stopping sequences. Run hours are balanced across all available drives through built-in duty alternation and automatic sharing protocols.
An integrated Setup Wizard on the 7-inch touchscreen HMI simplifies system commissioning. The diagnostic screens display graphical overview screens, power and water usage charts, and timestamped alarm logs for system maintenance.
Din rail mounted terminals are provided for dual 4–20 mA inputs for level, pressure or temperature transducers, plus up to five 24 Vdc digital inputs. Standard RCD protection is not recommended because VSD EMC filtering can cause nuisance tripping. If RCD protection is required, Type B RCDs must be used with consideration of VSD earth leakage current.
