MATelec HydroWHIZ FPC-63120-D Mild Steel Three Phase 3 kW Variable Speed Single Pump Controller

Suitable for single-pump constant pressure, water transfer and hot water circulation, the HydroWHIZ FPC-63120-D provides variable-speed regulation with level, pressure and temperature operating modes. Its 3 kW VSD rating operates from a three-phase 400 Vac supply, with the drive adjusting speed based on active sensor feedback.

The single-pump configuration adjusts speed between minimum and maximum limits to maintain constant system pressure or level. Built-in Sleep Assist Boost and Pipe Fill algorithms reduce pump cycling and gently build pipe pressure during startup. Pumps are started and stopped in sequence to reduce excessive current draw and minimise water surge or hammer during changes in demand.

The IP44 mild steel enclosure includes integral ventilation, a thermostatically controlled fan and removable gland plate. Physical interfaces include a colour touchscreen HMI with comprehensive logged data and diagnostics, individual pump circuit breakers and a padlockable mains isolator. A volt-free common fault relay provides BMS signalling, and Modbus RTU RS485 supports SCADA integration.

Protection functions cover high and low limits, no-flow and feedback signal faults. VSD and system protection functions monitor operating conditions and provide configurable responses to faults such as overload, pressure, level, temperature, no-flow and feedback-signal conditions.
