Single-pump water transfer, stormwater pump-out and sewage applications are addressed by the HydroWHIZ FPC-63120-K, offering variable-speed regulation with level, pressure and temperature operating modes. Its 22 kW VSD rating runs from a three-phase 400 Vac supply, with speed adjusted according to system demand.
The control module features algorithms that regulate the pump using configurable proportional and PID parameters. Sleep Assist Boost and Pipe Fill reduce pump cycling and gently build pipe pressure during startup, without sudden velocity variations or shocks. Pumps are started and stopped in sequence to reduce excessive current draw and minimise water surge or hammer.
Housed in an IP44 mild steel cabinet with integral ventilation, thermostatically controlled fan and removable gland plate, the panel includes a colour touchscreen HMI, pump circuit breakers and a lockable isolator switch. The HMI provides system and individual pump status, logged events, trend graphs and diagnostics. A volt-free common fault relay provides BMS signalling, and Modbus RTU RS485 supports SCADA integration.
Configurable protection includes high and low limits, no-flow and feedback-signal faults. VSD and system protection functions monitor operating conditions and provide configurable responses to faults such as overload, pressure, level, temperature, no-flow and feedback-signal conditions.
Features
- Individual pump circuit breaker protection
- Thermostatically controlled fan provides enclosure ventilation
- Pipe Fill gently builds pipe pressure during startup
- Volt-free common fault contact for building automation feedback
- Padlockable mains power isolator switch allows the incoming power supply to be physically isolated during servicing and maintenance
- Sleep Assist Boost temporarily increases pressure before sleep, allowing a longer sleep period and reducing pump cycling
- Configurable low-pressure and no-flow protection
