MATelec HydroWHIZ FPC-63220-B Mild Steel Three Phase 1.5 kW Variable Speed Two Pump Controller

Stormwater pump-out, sewage and water transfer with two pumps are handled by the HydroWHIZ FPC-63220-B, offering variable-speed regulation with level, pressure and temperature operating modes. Its 1.5 kW VSD rating runs from a three-phase 400 Vac supply, with speed adjusted according to system demand.

Users can toggle between level, pressure and temperature settings, with duty rotation balancing run hours across the two pumps. Adjustable duty sharing and alternation allow operating responsibility to be rotated between pumps, while bumpless transfer helps maintain smooth operation when the duty pump changes. Additional pumps are brought into operation as demand increases to maintain the selected setpoint, then removed from service when they are no longer required. Sleep Assist Speed Minimise and Sleep Assist Boost extend sleep periods and reduce pump cycling, with staggered start-stop delays reducing water surge.

The IP44 mild steel cabinet includes integral ventilation, a removable gland plate and thermostatically controlled fan. The panel features a colour touchscreen HMI with system and individual pump status, logged events and trend graphs, individual pump circuit breakers and a padlockable isolator. A volt-free common fault relay provides BMS signalling, and Modbus RTU RS485 supports SCADA integration.

Protection functions include high and low limits, no-flow and pump cycle protection. VSD and system protection functions monitor operating conditions and provide configurable responses to faults such as overload, pressure, level, temperature, no-flow and feedback-signal conditions.
