BMS integration is built into the MATelec FPC-63243-(AA-D)/BMS, which controls two three-phase pumps from a 400Vac supply and provides additional volt-free status outputs. Physical safety elements include a pad-lockable mains power isolator switch, an inner door mounting system for HMI hardware, and a removable gland plate for wiring. Active duty sharing rotates pump starting sequences automatically based on accumulated run hours to equalise pump run hours across the system.

Power distribution is rated for 400Vac networks, utilizing contactors to switch the pump terminals on demand. For thermal safety, the system is specified for an overload selection range of 1.6-13A per pump to protect the pump motor against overload. Input terminals and logic boards operate on an isolated 24Vdc safety control circuit, protected by individual control circuit breakers.

This system operates under level, pressure, or temperature control modes, selectable via HMI setup screens. Users can connect an analogue 4-20mA feedback sensor together with eight digital inputs for low, stop, start, standby start, and high level alarms. Sequenced staging coordinates starting sequences with a 3-second delay between pumps, and a 1-second staggered delay when stopping the motors.

A colour touchscreen HMI displays live system status, historical alarm counts, date-stamped fault codes, and graphical feedback trends. Diagnostic alerts utilize an integrated strobe and an audible buzzer, featuring audible buzzer mute function. Remote BMS systems connect to dedicated volt-free relay terminals for power on, high level, separate pump run, and pump fault statuses. Software protective routines like pump cycle protection, no flow limits, high and low level protection, and a 7-day pump anti-seize routine enable system safety.
