MATelec HydroWHIZ FPC-63243-S7.5 Mild Steel IP56 Inner Door 3PH 7.5kW Soft Start Dual Pump Controller

The FPC-63243-S7.5 is configured for two pumps on a 400Vac three-phase supply, with a 7.5kW soft starter for each pump. Adjustable soft start and stop operation provides controlled acceleration and deceleration while the HydroWHIZ controller manages level, pressure and temperature systems through its colour touchscreen HMI.

An IP56-rated powder-coated mild steel enclosure with an inner door and removable gland plate houses the controller. It includes a pad-lockable mains power isolator switch, circuit breaker protected low-voltage control and input circuitry, individual pump isolation, contactor and thermal overload protection of pump motors, and DIN rail-mounted terminal connections. Visual strobe and mutable audible buzzer alarms are provided for local indication.

The input arrangement includes a 4–20mA analogue input for level, pressure or temperature transducers and up to 8 digital 24Vdc inputs for low, stop, start, standby start and high float switches, pressure switches or thermostats, system enable/disable and low flow functions. Each three-phase pump also has a thermal switch input.

Two-pump duty, duty-assist and standby configurations are supported, with adjustable duty sharing and alternation using bumpless transfer. Pump limiting can restrict maximum flow or power requirements, while staging and destaging controls pump operation according to demand. Manual control, anti-seize, maximum run, pump cycle, no flow, feedback signal fault, pump overload, thermal switch and high/low level, pressure and temperature protection are included. Temperature control provides sleep operation.

The system enable input enables or disables the system in automatic mode and can be used for auxiliary tank level protection. The HMI provides time and date-stamped alarms, logged data, trend graphs and diagnostics. The controller also provides a common-fault volt-free output, 0–10V analogue output mirroring the analogue input, and Modbus RTU Serial RS485 connections for SCADA.
