MATelec HydroWHIZ FPC-63253 Mild Steel IP56 3PH 2 Pump Motor Mount VSD Controller

Variable speed control changes everything about how a pumping system performs, and the HydroWHIZ FPC-63253-(1.5-15) puts that control in your hands. This three phase motor mount VSD controller from MATelec manages two pumps with VSD ratings from 1.5 to 15kW, with the option to go higher on request.

System feedback comes through a 4-20mA analog input from a level, pressure or temperature transducer. The included 16 bar pressure transducer gives you pressure feedback straight out of the box. Up to eight 24Vdc digital inputs provide backup from floats, pressure switches or thermostats.

Each drive gets a volt free run/enable output and a 0-10V analog speed output, so the controller can tell each VSD when to run and how fast. A BMS volt free common fault output and Modbus RTU RS485 connections let you integrate the system with building management or SCADA networks.

Level, pressure and temperature control modes are all supported, with PID control for pressure applications. Up to six pumps can run in duty, duty assist and standby configurations, with duty sharing, alternation, staging and destaging all managed automatically by the HydroWHIZ control module. The colour touch screen HMI provides intuitive access to all system parameters and diagnostics. The enclosure is IP56 powder coated mild steel with inner door and removable gland plate, with size increasing for higher kW ratings.
