MATelec HydroWHIZ FPC-63320-E Mild Steel Three Phase 4 kW Variable Speed Three Pump Controller

Water transfer, stormwater and sewage with three pumps are addressed by the HydroWHIZ FPC-63320-E, offering variable-speed regulation with level, pressure and temperature operating modes. Its 4 kW VSD rating runs from a three-phase 400 Vac supply, with speed adjusted according to system demand.

The control module executes duty sharing, pump rotation and automatic staging as demand changes. Adjustable duty sharing and alternation allow operating responsibility to be rotated between pumps, while bumpless transfer helps maintain smooth operation when the duty pump changes. Sleep Assist Speed Minimise and Sleep Assist Boost extend sleep periods and reduce pump cycling, with staggered starting reducing excessive current draw and water hammer.

Proportional speed control responds to level or temperature signals, while PID control handles pressure with adjustable proportional and integral values. The IP44 mild steel cabinet includes integral ventilation and a removable gland plate.

A colour touchscreen HMI provides system and individual pump status, operating modes, logged information and diagnostic functions. Modbus RTU RS485 enables SCADA communication, and a volt-free common fault relay delivers remote alarm notification.

Configurable protection covers high and low limits, no-flow and pump cycle protection. VSD and system protection functions monitor operating conditions and provide configurable responses to faults such as overload, pressure, level, temperature, no-flow and feedback-signal conditions.
