MATelec HydroWHIZ FPC-63320-I Mild Steel Three Phase 15 kW Variable Speed Three Pump Controller

Water transfer, stormwater and sewage with three pumps are managed by the HydroWHIZ FPC-63320-I, providing variable-speed regulation with level, pressure and temperature operating modes. Its 15 kW VSD rating runs from a three-phase 400 Vac supply, with speed adjusted according to system demand.

The control module executes duty sharing, pump rotation and automatic staging as demand changes. Adjustable duty sharing and alternation allow operating responsibility to be rotated between pumps, while bumpless transfer helps maintain smooth operation when the duty pump changes. Pressure-control functions include jacking pump support, Pipe Fill and Sleep Assist Speed Minimise. Pumps are started and stopped in sequence to reduce excessive current draw and minimise water surge or hammer.

Proportional speed control responds to level or temperature changes, while PID control maintains steady pressure with adjustable proportional and integral values. Housed in an IP44-rated powder-coated mild steel enclosure with removable gland plate and cooling fan, the panel includes a colour touchscreen HMI.

Modbus RTU RS485 supports SCADA integration, with a common fault relay providing remote alarm signalling. Configurable protection covers high and low limits, no-flow and feedback-signal faults. VSD and system protection functions monitor operating conditions and provide configurable responses to faults such as overload, pressure, level, temperature, no-flow and feedback-signal conditions.
