MATelec HydroWHIZ FPC-63321-B Mild Steel 1.5 kW Variable Speed Three Pump Controller

Stormwater, sewage and water transfer with three pumps benefit from the HydroWHIZ FPC-63321-B, offering variable-speed regulation with level, pressure and temperature operating modes. The system utilises single-phase 230 Vac input to generate three-phase 230 Vac output, with a 1.5 kW VSD rating with speed adjusted according to system demand.

Coordinating pump control, the controller provides automatic duty alternation and bumpless transfer to rotate active pumps. Additional pumps are brought into operation as demand increases to maintain the selected setpoint, then removed from service when they are no longer required. Sleep Assist Boost and Pipe Fill reduce pump cycling and gently build pipe pressure during startup, with staggered start-stop delays reducing water surge.

Proportional speed control responds to level or temperature signals, while PID control handles pressure with adjustable proportional and integral values. The IP44 mild steel cabinet includes integral ventilation and a removable gland plate.

A colour touchscreen HMI provides system and individual pump status, operating modes, logged information and diagnostic functions. Modbus RTU RS485 enables SCADA integration, and a volt-free common fault relay offers remote alarm signalling.

Configurable protection covers high and low limits, no-flow and pump cycle protection. VSD and system protection functions monitor operating conditions and provide configurable responses to faults such as overload, pressure, level, temperature, no-flow and feedback-signal conditions. Manual operation is available for both the system and individual pumps, with a 10-minute timeout returning the controller to automatic operation.
