The enclosure layout includes a protective inner door for touch safety, a removable gland plate to simplify cable entry, and a pad-lockable mains power isolator switch. Load sharing logic alternates the active duty pump upon system start or after continuous runs, helping equalise pump run hours.

    The panel connects to a 230Vac power supply, distributing switching power to the connected pump motor terminal connections. Motor winding protection is provided by thermal overloads adjustable within the 1.6-13A range, protecting the pump motor against overload. Field switch lines and logic circuits operate at 24Vdc to isolate remote sensors, backed by circuit-breaker protection on the control lines.

    Flexible setup options include level empty and fill, pressure boosting, or temperature control. System states are governed by a 4-20mA analogue transducer signal and up to eight digital inputs representing start, standby, and alarm conditions. To minimize water surge and line current draw, pumps are staged sequentially with a 3-second staggered start delay and a 1-second staggered stop delay.

    Live operating diagnostics are accessible on the colour touchscreen HMI, which plots analogue trends and logs pump start and run hours. Local alarms activate an onboard visual strobe and a mutable audible buzzer, with audible buzzer mute function. BMS hardware features include dedicated volt-free relay outputs for power on, high level, pump run, and individual pump faults. Mechanical protection is provided by high and low level protection, feedback signal fault protection, cycle protection, and a 7-day pump anti-seize routine.
