Three pump outputs make the FPC-63343-S2.2 a three-phase 400Vac HydroWHIZ controller with a 2.2kW soft starter assigned to each pump. Adjustable soft start and stop operation provides controlled motor acceleration and deceleration while the controller manages level, pressure and temperature systems through its colour touchscreen HMI.
The IP56-rated powder-coated mild steel enclosure includes an inner door and removable gland plate. Protection and connection equipment includes a pad-lockable mains power isolator switch, circuit breaker protected low-voltage control and input circuitry, individual pump isolation, contactor and thermal overload protection of pump motors, and DIN rail-mounted terminal connections. Visual strobe and mutable audible buzzer alarms are included.
The input arrangement provides a 4–20mA analogue input for level, pressure or temperature transducers and up to 8 digital 24Vdc inputs for low, stop, start, standby start and high float switches, pressure switches or thermostats, system enable/disable and low flow functions. Thermal switch inputs are provided for each three-phase pump.
The three pumps can be operated in duty, duty-assist and standby configurations, with adjustable duty sharing and alternation and bumpless transfer. Pump limiting can restrict maximum flow or power requirements, while staging and destaging manages additional pump operation. Manual control, anti-seize, maximum run, pump cycle, no flow, feedback signal fault, pump overload, thermal switch and high/low level, pressure and temperature protection are supported. Temperature control includes sleep operation.
The system enable input allows automatic system enable or disable and can be used for auxiliary tank level protection. The HMI provides time and date-stamped alarms, logged data, trend graphs and diagnostics. A common-fault volt-free output, 0–10V analogue output mirroring the analogue input and Modbus RTU Serial RS485 connections for SCADA are provided.
