The Onga 184 Hi-Flo is a heavy-duty centrifugal irrigation pump designed for high-volume water transfer in domestic, rural, and industrial applications. Built with a rugged cast iron pump casing and durable moulded internal components, the 184 model delivers powerful flow performance while maintaining reliability in demanding irrigation and water transfer systems. The award-winning Hi-Flo impeller design provides excellent hydraulic efficiency and strong water delivery for tank filling, wash-down, irrigation, and general circulation tasks.
Powered by a 3.8kW electric motor operating at approximately 2900 RPM, the Onga 184 delivers flows of up to 618 litres per minute at moderate heads and supports a maximum head of 52 metres. The pump is a horizontal, single-stage centrifugal design with a closed impeller and Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) motor, ensuring efficient operation and reliable cooling during extended use.
Constructed for long service life, the pump features stainless steel shaft sleeve components, ceramic and carbon mechanical seal faces, nitrile O-rings, and a cast iron pump casing. Designed for pumping clean, non-aggressive liquids without solids or fibres, the 184 model can handle water temperatures between 1°C and 70°C with a maximum working pressure of 780kPa, making it suitable for irrigation systems and high-flow water transfer installations.
