Larger residential pools place greater demand on filtration equipment as circulation volume and hydraulic load increase across longer operating cycles. The Onga Pantera Series II P229200 addresses this with a larger filtration vessel and higher-capacity plumbing configuration suited to stronger residential flow requirements.

Operating flow ranges from 240 L/Min to 320 L/Min across a filtration area measuring 0.4 m². Media capacity supports 185 kg of sand, 140 kg of Zelbrite, or a layered glass media arrangement combining fine and coarse grades for alternative filtration performance characteristics.

Water distribution through the vessel is managed by an internal under-drain lateral arrangement intended to maintain more even flow movement throughout the media bed. As trapped debris increases operating pressure inside the vessel, the backwash function reverses water direction to clean the filtration media and restore operating efficiency.

The seamless moulded body is manufactured from UV stabilised polyethylene formulated with octene cross-linked polymers for improved weather resistance around outdoor pool equipment installations. Servicing access is supported through threaded internal components, barrel union pipe connections, a large inline sight glass, and corrosion-resistant stainless steel fittings around the valve assembly.
