Onga PWT-S 1.2m Fibreglass Side-Mount Pool Filter for High Capacity Pools with Dual Layer Laterals

Commercial aquatic facilities and high-volume circulation systems requiring increased filtration capacity can integrate the Onga PWT-S-12-30 side-mount filter for continuous water treatment and debris removal. The larger 1.2 metre vessel supports substantial sand media capacity together with stable hydraulic performance across demanding commercial filtration environments.

An effective filtration area of 1.17 m² allows hydraulic flow rates up to 59 m³/hr, while backwash capability reaches 41 m³/hr for efficient servicing and filter media cleaning cycles. The tank accommodates approximately 860 kg of filtration sand media and operates at pressures up to 250 kPa during commercial operation.

Water distribution throughout the filter bed is assisted by dual layers of laterals designed to maintain balanced flow characteristics and stable filtration performance across continuous-duty circulation systems. A six-position multi-port valve is incorporated to manage filtration, rinse, waste, recirculate, backwash, and closed operating functions.

The tank is manufactured using spun-woven UV resistant fibreglass developed for chemical resistance, structural strength, and long-term outdoor durability. Commercial plumbing compatibility is supported through 3” / 80 mm valve connections together with 2.5” (65 mm) barrel union connections for installation flexibility and maintenance access.
