Onga PWT-SDB 0.7m Fibreglass Deep Bed Pool Filter for Commercial Pools with 4" Sight Glass

The Onga PWT-SDB-10-07-20 commercial deep bed filter combines a 0.7 metre diameter vessel with a full 1.0 metre sand bed depth for thorough commercial water filtration across swimming pools and aquatic circulation systems. The deeper media bed increases filtration contact time to assist with improved water clarity and debris removal during continuous operation.

An effective filtration area of 0.38 m² supports maximum hydraulic flow rates up to 253 LPM, while backwash performance reaches 205 LPM for routine servicing and media cleaning procedures. The vessel accommodates approximately 580 kg of filtration sand media and incorporates a 2€� / 50 mm valve connection for commercial plumbing integration.

Dual layers of laterals assist with balanced hydraulic distribution throughout the media bed to maintain stable filtration performance across continuous-duty operating conditions. A 4€� sight glass is incorporated for monitoring backwash clarity, while the integrated manhole allows direct internal servicing access during maintenance procedures.

The tank is manufactured using spun-woven UV resistant fibreglass developed for chemical resistance, structural durability, and long-term outdoor operation. A 50 mm / 2€� drain arrangement is incorporated to support servicing and drainage requirements, while maximum operating pressure is rated to 250 kPa.
