Onga PWT-SDB 0.8m Fibreglass Deep Bed Pool Filter for High Flow Pool Systems with Dual Layer Laterals

The Onga PWT-SDB-10-08-20 deep bed commercial filter provides continuous sand filtration performance for swimming pools and larger aquatic circulation systems requiring increased media capacity and stable hydraulic operation. The 0.8 metre vessel incorporates a 1.0 metre deep sand bed arrangement to support effective filtration across commercial-duty installations.

Hydraulic flow rates reach up to 333 LPM, while backwash capacity extends to 270 LPM during servicing and filter cleaning cycles. The filter provides an effective filtration area of 0.50 m² and accommodates approximately 769 kg of filtration sand media together with a 2” / 50 mm valve connection.

Balanced water movement through the media bed is maintained through dual layers of laterals designed to support stable filtration consistency and debris removal throughout continuous operation. A 4” sight glass assists with monitoring backwash clarity, while the integrated servicing manhole provides internal access for maintenance procedures and media inspection.

Spun-woven UV resistant fibreglass construction provides resistance against chemically treated water, outdoor operating conditions, and long-term commercial use. The filter also incorporates a 50 mm / 2” drain arrangement and operates at maximum pressures up to 250 kPa.
