Commercial aquatic systems operating with increased circulation demand can utilise the Onga PWT-SDB-12-09-25 deep bed filter for high-capacity sand filtration and stable continuous water treatment performance. The 0.9 metre vessel combines a 1.2 metre deep media bed with larger 2.5” / 65 mm valve connections to accommodate elevated hydraulic flow requirements across commercial installations.
The filter supports maximum hydraulic flow rates up to approximately 31.5 m³/hr, while backwash capacity reaches approximately 20.4 m³/hr during servicing and media cleaning procedures. An effective filtration area of 0.63 m² is supported together with approximately 1146 kg of filtration sand media and a maximum operating pressure rating of 250 kPa.
Water dispersion through the media bed is assisted by dual lateral layers designed to maintain stable hydraulic movement and effective debris removal throughout continuous-duty operation. A 4” sight glass allows visual inspection during backwash cycles, while the integrated servicing manhole provides convenient internal access during maintenance procedures.
The vessel is manufactured using spun-woven UV resistant fibreglass developed for outdoor durability, chemical resistance, and long-term commercial operation. Installation compatibility is supported through a 50 mm / 2” drain arrangement together with the larger 2.5” / 65 mm valve connection configuration.
