Onga PWT-SDB 0.9m Fibreglass Deep Bed Pool Filter with 1.2m Sand Bed and Dual Layer Laterals

Large commercial pool systems and aquatic circulation installations can integrate the Onga PWT-SDB-12-09-20 deep bed filter where higher media capacity and stable continuous filtration performance are required. The 0.9 metre vessel incorporates a full 1.2 metre deep sand bed configuration designed to provide extended filtration contact time and consistent commercial water treatment operation.

Hydraulic performance reaches approximately 25.2 m³/hr with backwash capability extending to approximately 20.4 m³/hr during servicing cycles. The filter provides an effective filtration area of 0.63 m² and accommodates approximately 1146 kg of filtration sand media while operating at maximum pressures up to 250 kPa.

Balanced hydraulic movement through the media bed is maintained through dual layers of laterals designed to support even water distribution and stable filtration consistency during continuous-duty operation. The integrated 4” sight glass assists with monitoring backwash clarity, while the servicing manhole provides direct internal access during inspection and maintenance procedures.

Spun-woven UV resistant fibreglass construction provides strong resistance against corrosion, chemically treated water, and outdoor operating environments. A 50 mm / 2” drain arrangement together with a 2” / 50 mm valve connection supports installation and servicing requirements across commercial filtration systems.
