Onga PWT-V 1.2m Fibreglass Vertical Pool Filter for Large Commercial Pools with Dual Layer Laterals

Large commercial aquatic systems requiring substantial filtration capacity can utilise the Onga PWT-V-12-80 vertical sand filter for continuous water treatment across swimming pools, water features, and high-volume circulation installations. The 1.2 metre tank diameter supports increased media volume and stable hydraulic performance for demanding commercial filtration duties.

Filtration performance is supported through an effective filtration area of 1.13 m² with maximum flow capacity reaching 56.5 m³/hr. Backwash flow performance extends to 39.5 m³/hr for routine servicing and media cleaning, while the filter accommodates approximately 860 kg of filtration sand media.

Balanced water movement through the media bed is assisted by dual layers of laterals designed to improve filtration consistency and support effective debris removal during continuous operation. The six-position multi-port valve enables filtration, rinse, waste, recirculate, backwash, and closed operating settings for commercial system management.

The spun-woven UV resistant fibreglass tank construction provides durability against chemically treated water, outdoor weather exposure, and continuous commercial operation. Installation compatibility is supported through the hybrid 65 mm / 2.5” multi-port valve configuration together with 80 mm / 3” barrel unions and 3” / 80 mm valve connections.
