High suction lift and high-pressure irrigation are the primary service duties for this specialised self-priming shallow well jet pump, supplied with the SW66 injector, a high-head injector configuration designed for applications where discharge pressure takes priority over maximum flow. It is engineered for rural properties where water must be drawn from significant depths or delivered over steep elevations.
Powered by a 1.5 kW single-phase 240V motor, the unit operates with a rated current of 9.7 Amps. Hydraulic performance is defined by a maximum head of up to 69 m and delivers a maximum flow rate of up to 67 L/Min. This configuration is optimised for high-static head installations where overcoming vertical lift is the primary hydraulic challenge.
The SW66 injector works with the jet and venturi system to increase discharge pressure, utilising the large oval casing to provide an ample water reservoir for self-priming and assist the venturi in purging air from long suction lines. This design ensures that the pump can maintain stable flow even in demanding installations with high suction lift requirements.
Built for durability, the pump features a solid cast iron construction and a high-grade stainless steel shaft to resist mechanical wear. It incorporates a unique double race bearing system that shares the motor load, making it better at handling the axial forces associated with high-pressure discharge. The unit is rated for liquid temperatures up to 65°C and is backed by a 2-year Orange Pumps warranty.
