The GEMINI 30 provides fully controlled salt water management for domestic swimming pools and spas. While the pool system is running, the Gemini Control Unit continuously analyses water chemistry and turns on the Salt Unit when more chlorine is required. It also monitors pH and adjusts it to help maintain the desired water chemistry.
The multi-electrode probe assesses pool water chemistry and determines the chlorine production required from the electrolytic cell. At the same time, the Gemini System controls pH by feeding accurate doses of acid through a peristaltic pump. This automated approach is designed for use with conventional and mineral salt pools and spas.
For scheduled operation, the control unit uses a 24-hour quartz-crystal timer backed by a Real-Time Clock. During a power failure, the system keeps time and maintains AutoMode functions without requiring the settings to be re-programmed. The weather-resistant housing is designed for operation in full sun and rain.
The injection manifold is positioned after accessories such as the heater and before the chlorinator cell. This arrangement places the manifold within the return-side installation before chlorine is produced by the electrolytic cell.
