With an 18g/hr chlorine output, the XLS18 provides extra-low-salt chlorination for salt or mineral pools where greater chlorine production is required. Its electrolytic cell is designed for self-cleaning operation, combining effective pool sanitation with a low-salt approach intended to provide a freshwater-style swimming experience.

Cover Mode is built into the system and reduces chlorine production to 20% of normal when the pool cover is on. The standard XLS18 can also be upgraded with the separate plug-and-play pH Control system at a later stage, allowing automatic acid dosing to be added without replacing the chlorinator.

Using lower salt or mineral concentrations can reduce the amount of salt discharged during backwashing and help minimise the effects associated with higher salt levels on pool surrounds and metal components. The system is suitable for salt or mineral pool water management.

Manufactured in Australia, the XLS18 is supported by Pool Controls' national service network. XLS Series chlorinators carry a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms.
