For residential pool and spa filtration, the Zenclean Cartridge Filter 150 uses a single-element cartridge within a high-strength, UV-resistant tank. The compact, low-height construction provides a practical arrangement for pool systems where filtration equipment space is restricted.
Filtration is handled by a large one-piece cartridge element with an extensive surface for trapping dirt and debris. The element can be removed for cleaning and rinsed with a garden hose, while the cartridge arrangement avoids the need for backwashing used with sand filters.
Connection to the pool filtration system is through 50 mm inlet and outlet ports. The filter is specified for a maximum operating pressure of 50 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 40°C (104°F). An indicative pressure gauge provides a visual indication for servicing requirements.
The upper assembly includes an easy-grip lid handle and air relief valve, while a locking ring with quick-release latch allows the top tank to be removed and installed. A knee-height rigid tank base provides access for cartridge replacement, with the UV-resistant plastic tank forming the filter housing.
