PoolControls Zenheat ZHS10 Horizontal Airflow Inverter Pool Heater with R32 Refrigerant

Designed for residential pool and spa heating, the Zenheat ZHS 10 uses a full-inverter air-source heat pump system with R32 refrigerant and a titanium heat exchanger. A DC inverter fan motor directs airflow horizontally through the unit, while the system is configured for automatic defrosting through a 4-way valve. The ZHS 10 is supplied from a 240V single-phase 50Hz power source.

The unit has a maximum power input of 1.78 kW and maximum current of 8.3 A, with a specified water flow volume of 3.5 m³/h. Its working temperature range is -15°C to 43°C, providing the stated operating range for the heat pump. The combination of inverter operation, water flow and airflow configuration forms the main heating arrangement of the ZHS 10.

Physical construction is based around an ABS casing with an IPX4 waterproof level. Noise is specified at 40–52 dB(A) when measured at 1 metre and 20–32 dB(A) at 10 metres. The ZHS 10 has a net weight of 43 kg and a gross weight of 54 kg, allowing the unit and its packaged weight to be considered when planning handling and installation.

The heater has net dimensions of 864 × 349 × 592 mm, while its package dimensions are 930 × 400 × 640 mm. These dimensions define the physical space required for the unit and its packaging, while the integrated heating and control components remain within the stated enclosure.
