Puretec CC-QAP9CO Compatible Replacement 9" 1 Micron Water Filter Cartridge

Featuring integrated scale inhibitor compounds for hot water boilers, the Puretec CC-QAP9CO is a compatible replacement cartridge. It replaces 3M Aqua-Pure AP9300 and Cuno High Flow HF15 filter elements, as well as InSinkErator, Instanta, and Moffat/Convotherm systems. It inserts directly into matching quick-change heads.

Constructed from a polymer pressure shell, this filter measures 9 inches in physical length. The cartridge houses a dual-action carbon block media combined with food-grade scale inhibitor crystals. The dry filter weighs 0.46 kg and operates in cold water lines up to 55°C.

The compatible commercial filter operates at a pressure range of 68 to 520 kPa to match standard plumbing lines. It is specified for a nominal micron rating of 1 micron for sediment reduction and heavy metal adsorption. The internal carbon block provides an active filtration capacity of 10,000 Litres.

The cartridge connects using a quick-change keyway that seals against existing head adapters. It complies with Australian plumbing regulations under AS/NZS 3497 licence number WM 74617. The scale inhibitor treatment reduces mineral precipitation on heating elements in boilers and beverage machines. It requires regular cartridge swaps.
