Puretec CC-QEVCB5S Compatible Replacement 9" 5 Micron Water Filter Cartridge

Replicating the configuration of Everpure chemical scale reduction systems, the Puretec CC-QEVCB5S is a compatible replacement water filter cartridge. It is designed to replace Everpure 2CB5-S and 2CB-GW filter models. It connects directly to standard commercial head brackets without requiring piping changes.

Constructed from a polymer pressure shell, this filter measures 9 inches in physical length. The cartridge houses a sediment-reducing carbon block with scale inhibitor designed to process mains drinking water. The complete cartridge weighs 0.44 kg and operates in liquid temperatures up to 55°C under normal cold water supply pressures.

The cartridge operates within an operating pressure range of 68 to 520 kPa. It features a nominal micron rating of 5 micron to capture physical sediment, sand, rust, and clay. It is rated for an active capacity of 10,000 Litres of chlorine taste and chemical scale reduction.

The cartridge features a quick-change twist port that seals against standard commercial heads. It carries AS/NZS 3497 certification under licence number WM 74617. The scale inhibitor treatment reduces mineral precipitation on heating elements in coffee machines and water dispensers. It requires regular cartridge swaps.
