It is designed to replace Everpure 4CB5-K and FC4S cartridges (previously referenced under old code CC-QEBCB5K-MX). It connects directly to existing commercial food service filter heads without the need for physical piping adjustments.
Constructed from a polymer pressure shell, this high-capacity cartridge measures 14 inches in physical length. The cartridge houses a dual-action carbon block with scale control compounds designed for mains water supply lines. The unit weighs 0.62 kg and operates in liquid temperatures up to 55°C under normal cold water supply pressures.
Operational parameters include a rated pressure range of 68 to 520 kPa. It features a nominal micron rating of 5 micron to capture sediment, sand, rust, and suspended clay. The high-capacity cartridge is rated for an active capacity of 20,000 Litres of chlorine and scale reduction.
The cartridge features a quick-change twist port that seals against standard commercial heads. It carries AS/NZS 3497 certification under licence number WM 74617. The scale inhibitor treatment reduces mineral precipitation on heating elements in coffee machines and water dispensers. It requires regular cartridge swaps.
