Specified for high-demand sub-micron filtration inside Zip systems, the Puretec CC-QZ937-02 is an aftermarket compatible replacement water filter cartridge. It is designed to replace Zip 93702, 93704, and 93706 filter elements, which are common in residential and commercial boiling and chilled drinking systems. It connects directly into existing Zip quick-change heads without requiring plumbing alterations.
Constructed from a polymer pressure casing, the cartridge has a physical length of 9 inches. The cartridge houses a sub-micron carbon block media designed to process mains drinking water. The complete unit weighs 0.45 kg and operates in liquid temperatures up to 55°C under standard cold water plumbing conditions.
The compatible filter operates at a pressure range of 68 to 520 kPa. It is specified for a nominal micron rating of 0.2 micron for microfiltration of parasitic cysts and micro-fine particulate matter. It is rated for an active capacity of 4,000 Litres of chlorine reduction.
The cartridge features a quick-change twist port that seals against standard Zip heads. It carries AS/NZS 3497 certification under licence number WM 74617. Note that CC-QZ937-02 and CC-QZ937-3 are not suitable for Zip G4 units. Maintenance requires regular cartridge swaps.
