It is designed to replace Zip 51000, 52000, and 53000 filter elements, as well as 3M Cuno CS51, Bosch CS52, 5586605, 5553629, 5553606, EVOLFLTR10, AP3961137, Whirlpool WHKFR-PLUS, and Birko units.
Constructed from a polymer pressure shell, this compact cartridge has a physical length of 8 inches. The cartridge houses a dual-action carbon block media with scale inhibitor designed to treat mains water supply lines. The unit weighs 0.42 kg and operates in liquid temperatures up to 55°C under normal cold water supply pressures.
It operates within water pressure parameters of 68 to 520 kPa. The cartridge features a nominal micron rating of 5 micron to filter trace sediment, rust, and silt. It is specified for an active capacity of 11,000 Litres of chlorine and scale control reduction.
The cartridge features a quick-change twist port that seals against standard appliance head brackets. It carries AS/NZS 3497 certification under licence number WM 74617. The scale inhibitor treatment reduces mineral precipitation on heating elements in coffee machines and water dispensers. It requires regular cartridge swaps.
