The filtration stage utilizes a GC051 granular carbon cartridge with a 5 micron rating for the extraction of physical debris and chemical tastes. This 10-inch cartridge is designed for regular replacement every 6 months to maintain performance standards. The unit is suitable for counter top placement and is constructed from materials verified for potable water contact.

This system features a flow rate of 0 to 4 litres per minute and operates within a pressure range of 0 to 500 kPa. It utilizes a diverter valve that enables the user to select between filtered water through the CT15 spout and unfiltered water through the main tap. The operating temperature range is specified from 0 to 30 °C, and the unit must be protected from freezing conditions. Connection to the faucet is achieved through a flexible hose with integrated plumbing fittings.

Maintenance is achieved by unscrewing the housing bowl to replace the internal cartridge, with food-grade lubricant used for seal protection. The design allows for straightforward servicing of the filter media during standard domestic duty. Protection against high pressure is required via an approved limiting device if line pressure exceeds 500 kPa.
