Mains water sediment and chlorine reduction for the entire facility are achieved by the FilterWall IM2-NS through a semi-recessed in-wall housing. Specified for tiered reduction, this model features a Night Sky finished aluminium cover that integrates flush with external property walls. It is suitable for standard building constructions where a low-profile architectural footprint is required to provide high-flow treated water.

Built from aluminium, the cover measures 680 mm in width and 836 mm in height to house the internal 20-inch assembly. Internal filtration utilizes dual high-flow cartridges with a 5-micron nominal rating for tiered reduction of chemical and sediment contaminants. The unit is rated for operation on cold water lines up to 52°C and requires a wall installation depth of 150 mm for the semi-recessed configuration.

Internal hydraulic paths support a nominal flow rate of 55 L/Min through 20 mm BSP plumbing connections. The assembly handles operational pressures ranging from 200 to 875 kPa, incorporating lead-free brass for all internal plumbing interfaces to maintain mains water safety. This passive unit functions purely on line pressure without an external power source. A pressure limiting valve is included to protect the unit from mains pressure spikes.

Maintenance requirements involve 20-inch cartridge replacement every 6 to 12 months, with access provided by removing the front cover via lockable latches. The system protects internal components from environmental factors while maintaining high-flow performance for the whole building. Protection from freezing is required for external wall placements. The design provides a tiered reduction path for contaminants within a compact housing.
