Puretec HR-EI13 20" Hybrid E13/E13AMC/I13 UV Water Filter Maintenance Kit

Rainwater harvesting systems require regular component replacement to maintain filtration performance and system reliability. The HR-EI13 maintenance kit is manufactured for the Puretec HYBRID-E13, HYBRID-E13AMC, and HYBRID-I13 series systems. Periodic replacement of the filtration media is necessary to prevent sediment blockages in household fixtures and maintain the effectiveness of the system.

Constructed from genuine filtration media, this kit incorporates a 20-inch carbon and sediment cartridge and a secondary 20-inch sediment cartridge. The 5 micron carbon and sediment cartridge is designed for sediment and carbon filtration, while the 1 micron sediment cartridge targets fine silt and suspended solids. These cartridges measure 20 inches in length to fit the MaxiPlus housings used in high-capacity rainwater systems. The media configuration processes the water as it passes through the multi-stage filter housings before the sterilization stage.

Microbiological control is provided by a 46W ultraviolet replacement lamp that operates through the existing system controller. This lamp utilizes germicidal light to target bacteria and viruses in the internal sterilization path. It is designed to work with the internal quartz sleeve to provide exposure to the passing fluid stream. The lamp operates as part of the filtration and UV treatment system.

Structural maintenance components include a replacement quartz sleeve and durable rubber O-rings for the filtration housings. Food-grade lubricant is included to assist with the manual installation of the seals and to protect the gaskets from premature wear during filter changes. The design allows for tool-free cartridge replacement and supports the mechanical integrity of the Hybrid E13 and I13 series housings. Utilizing these genuine parts supports the manufacturer warranty and maintains the structural stability of the rainwater filtration architecture during standard residential service duty.
