Puretec IL-UB 1 Micron Inline Water Filter with OT250 High-Loop Designer Faucet

Inline water filtration for residential undersink applications is provided by the Puretec Basic IL-UB system. This unit provides treated drinking water by reducing chlorine, sediment, and heavy metals through a compact inline configuration. It is specified for town and rural water supplies where a slimline design is required to fit under existing kitchen benches. The system mounts either horizontally or vertically, providing flexibility within varied plumbing environments for domestic use.

Constructed from polymer materials, the system incorporates premium grade KDF media for enhanced chemical reduction. The filtration stage uses an IN149C inline cartridge with a nominal 1 micron rating and a total capacity of 9,500 litres. This all-in-one cartridge is designed for do-it-yourself replacement, eliminating the need for complex housing servicing. The filter assembly features 1/4 inch quick-connect ports for integration with the provided tubing and faucet kit.

The system operates with a flow rate of 1.9 Lpm and is specified for a pressure range of 100 to 500 kPa. It is supplied with an OT250 faucet which features a high-loop spout and a separate control lever for filtered water discharge. The operating temperature range is between 0 and 38 °C, and the unit must be protected from freezing at all times. Connection to the main water supply is made via a 1/2 inch BSP tee with 1/4 inch tubing for the filter line.

Protection for the system is required through the installation of a pressure limiting device if the line pressure exceeds 500 kPa. The compact inline design allows for installation without the need for large filter housings or heavy brackets. The kit includes all necessary plumbing fittings for standard integration into existing cold water lines.
