Operating inline on standard cold water plumbing lines, the Puretec IL142 inline fridge water filter cartridge provides taste and sediment reduction. It is suitable for ice makers, drinking water dispensers, and caravan water loops. The cartridge connects directly to standard tubing layouts using threaded connectors.

Constructed from a polymer pressure shell, the physical size measures 10 inches in length by 2 inches in diameter to fit standard brackets. The internal media is composed of granular activated carbon. It has a complete assembly weight of 0.38 kg and operates in cold water temperatures up to 38°C.

The inline water filter operates within a rated operating pressure range of 100 to 520 kPa to match municipal lines. It features a specified nominal micron rating of 5 micron to capture suspended rust, silt, and sand particles. The configuration is specified for a maximum flow rate of 1.9 Lpm.
