Featuring integrated scale inhibition compounds, the Puretec IL143 is an inline water filter cartridge suitable for beverage appliances. It is designed for coffee brewers, ice machines, and under-sink hot water dispensers connected to municipal cold water supplies. It installs inline using standard threaded adapter fittings without modifying existing head brackets.

Constructed from a polymer pressure shell, this cartridge has physical dimensions of 10 inches length by 2 inches diameter. The internal filter bed features a blend of activated carbon and food-grade scale control crystals. It weighs 0.39 kg and operates in liquid temperatures up to 38°C.

The scale control cartridge operates at water pressures from 100 to 520 kPa. It features a nominal micron rating of 5 micron to capture physical rust, sand, and carbon fines. The internal configuration is rated for a maximum water flow rate of 1.9 Lpm during active system demand.

The connection arrangement utilizes 1/4 inch BSPF threaded female inlet and outlet ports. It carries AS/NZS 3497 certification under licence number WM 74617.
