To mitigate calcium build-up in coffee machines and water boilers, the Puretec IL143Q inline water filter cartridge utilizes active scale control media. It connects directly inline to plastic pipes using integrated quick-connect fittings. This cartridge is suitable for under-sink water heater feeds and caravan cold water loops.

Manufactured with a molded polymer outer shell, the unit has physical dimensions of 10 inches length by 2 inches diameter. The internal media consists of activated carbon combined with chemical scale inhibitor crystals. The dry filter weighs 0.39 kg and operates in cold feed lines up to 38°C.

This quick-connect scale cartridge operates within rated pressure limits of 100 to 520 kPa. It has a specified micron rating of 5 micron to capture physical rust, clay, and sand particles. The internal flow path allows a maximum water flow rate of 1.9 Lpm under standard mains pressure.

The inlet and outlet connections incorporate 1/4 inch quick connect tube ports for direct push-in installation.
