Formulated to reintroduce essential minerals into pure water, the Puretec IL146Q inline water filter cartridge is ideal for post-reverse osmosis balancing and drinking taps. It connects inline directly using quick-connect tube ports, without requiring threaded fittings. This cartridge is suitable for caravan water loops and domestic cold water lines.

Manufactured with a molded polymer outer shell, the physical size measures 10.25 inches in length by 2 inches in diameter. The internal media is composed of natural mineral crystals to treat purified water. The cartridge has a net weight of 0.41 kg and operates in temperatures up to 38°C.

This quick-connect mineralizer cartridge operates under specified system pressure limits of 100 to 520 kPa. It is rated for a nominal micron rating of 5 micron to capture trace suspended particulates and carbon block fines. The internal configuration achieves a maximum flow rate of 1.9 Lpm.

The connections consist of 1/4 inch quick connect tube ports for tool-free, push-fit tubing setups. It complies with plumbing performance standards under AS/NZS 3497 licence WM 74617. The mineralizing bed slowly releases calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate into post-RO water to adjust pH and taste. Regular cartridge replacement provides consistent mineral levels.
