Featuring a custom mineral mineralizer blend, the Puretec IL148Q is an inline fridge filter cartridge configured for water alkalising. It is suitable for domestic refrigerators, ice makers, and post-RO mineral balancing layouts. It installs inline using built-in quick connect fittings directly on cold water supply lines.

Constructed from a polymer housing casing, the cartridge measures 10 inches in length by 2.5 inches in diameter to fit wide inline brackets. The internal media contains mixed crystals of coconut shell activated carbon, magnesium, and natural minerals. It weighs 0.48 kg and operates in temperatures up to 38°C.

This alkalising filter operates at operating pressures from 100 to 520 kPa. It features a specified micron rating of 5 micron to trap suspended rust, sediment, and silt. It allows a maximum flow rate of 1 Lpm, providing sufficient contact time for active mineral dissolution and hydrogen generation.

The inlet and outlet feature 1/4 inch quick connect tube ports for direct tool-free tubing integration. It holds certification under AS/NZS 3497 licence number WM 74617. The specialty media adds calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate while generating active hydrogen to produce fresh alkalised water with modified taste. It requires periodic cartridge swaps.
