Puretec IL643 Inline Fridge 2" x 6" 5 Micron Water Filter Cartridge

Suitable for tight spaces behind refrigerators and inside water dispenser cabinets, the Puretec IL643 is an inline water filter cartridge. It connects inline on mains drinking water lines using standard mounting clips. The cartridge provides basic taste and chemical reduction for cold water supply channels.

Formed from a molded polymer pressure shell, this filter cartridge measures 6 inches in length by 2 inches in diameter. The housing contains a triple action carbon formulation that treats residential drinking water. It weighs 0.25 kg and operates in fluid temperatures up to 38°C.

The inline fridge filter operates at a rated pressure range of 100 to 520 kPa to match standard municipal mains supply systems. It features a nominal micron rating of 5 micron to capture physical sand, clay, rust, and silt. It allows a maximum water flow rate of 1.9 Lpm during active system demand.

The connection arrangement features a 6.35 mm BSPF female thread port configuration at both ends of the cylinder. It integrates into plumbing systems under AS/NZS 3497 licence number WM 74617. The triple-action carbon media adsorbs chlorine, aesthetic bad tastes, and chemical odours. It requires periodic cartridge swaps when capacity thresholds are reached.
