Puretec PL01MP2 Pleated Sediment MaxiPlus 1 Micron 4.5" x 20" Water Filter Cartridge

The wide-body 20-inch Puretec PL01MP2 cartridge provides high-efficiency physical filtration of fine debris in high-flow commercial complexes. This high-capacity model removes micro-particulates, extending the lifecycle of secondary fine carbon filters. It is suitable for MaxiPlus filter housings and operates on main inlet lines.

This model utilizes a high-capacity non-woven polyester fabric medium folded into a wide pleated layout for fine particle capture. The pleated media is braced by a solid central polypropylene core that provides internal stiffness. The pleated ends are immersed in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC to seal the cartridge and block water bypass.

The cartridge measures 4.5 inches in diameter by 20 inches in length and provides nominal filtration down to 1 micron. It incorporates more than 16 square feet (1.48 square meters) of active filter media to trap incoming particles. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases the physical capture efficiency.

The cartridge operates at a maximum flow rate of 175 L/Min, retaining excellent hydraulic flow properties. It is rated for fluid temperatures from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Built with washable synthetic media, the cartridge features a reusable design, enabling cleaning between service runs to reduce costs.
