The Puretec PL05MP2 is a high-capacity pleated sediment replacement cartridge designed for removing sand, silt, rust, scale and particulate matter from water supplies. Built for MaxiPlus 20" filter housings, this cartridge provides effective pre-filtration for whole-house, commercial and industrial water treatment systems.
Manufactured from durable non-woven polyester media, the cartridge features a pleated design that significantly increases surface area, improving dirt-holding capacity and extending service life between cleaning or replacement. The washable construction allows the filter to be reused multiple times, reducing maintenance costs while maintaining reliable filtration performance.
With a 5-micron rating, the PL05MP2 effectively captures fine sediment while maintaining high flow performance of up to approximately 180 litres per minute, making it suitable for high-demand water systems. The reinforced polypropylene core and sealed end caps provide structural strength and resistance to chemical and bacterial attack, ensuring durability across residential, commercial and industrial applications.
Designed for use with mains or rainwater supplies, the cartridge is ideal as a first-stage filter to protect downstream equipment such as carbon filters, UV systems and plumbing fixtures from sediment damage.
