Puretec PL1002 Pleated Sediment 100 Micron 2.5" x 20" Water Filter Cartridge

Integrating a coarse 100-micron pleated mesh, the 20-inch Puretec PL1002 is suitable for initial screening of high-debris bore water. This model captures large physical debris before it reaches fine secondary filtration units. It is suitable for standard slimline filter housings and is designed for high-flow commercial piping.

The structural composition features a coarse non-woven polyester fabric media folded into a multi-surface layout. This pleated fabric wraps around a solid central polypropylene core that provides structural stiffness. The top and bottom ends are sealed with thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC, forming a leak-free unitized end cap.

Measuring 2.5 inches in diameter by 20 inches in length, this model provides coarse filtration at a nominal 100 microns. It incorporates more than 4 square feet (0.37 square meters) of active pleated media to catch incoming particulates. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases physical capture efficiency.

The filter cartridge performs at a maximum flow limit of 100 L/Min, providing filtration with low flow restriction. It operates in liquid temperatures ranging from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Featuring washable polyester fabric, this model utilizes a reusable configuration, allowing physical cleaning between filtration runs.
