Puretec PL100MP2 Pleated Sediment MaxiPlus 100 Micron 4.5" x 20" Water Filter Cartridge

With its coarse 100-micron nominal rating, the 20-inch wide-body Puretec PL100MP2 functions as an initial physical screen for high-turbidity water. This high-capacity MaxiPlus model captures large physical debris, sand, and scale in farm or industrial water feeds. It is suitable for MaxiPlus filter housings and operates as a coarse pre-filter.

This wide-body model employs high-density non-woven polyester fabric folded into a wide coarse pleated layout. This pleated polyester wraps around a wide polypropylene core that provides structural stiffness in MaxiPlus systems. The end seals are formed using thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC, fusing the components into a unitized cap.

This 20-inch cartridge measures 4.5 inches by 20 inches and offers a nominal filtration rating of 100 microns. It incorporates more than 16 square feet (1.48 square meters) of active filter media to trap incoming particles. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases the physical capture efficiency.

The cartridge operates at a maximum flow rate of 220 L/Min, maintaining excellent hydraulic flow properties. It is rated for fluid temperatures from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Featuring washable polyester fabric, this model utilizes a reusable configuration, allowing physical cleaning between filtration runs.
