Puretec PL101 Pleated Sediment 10 Micron 2.5" x 10" Water Filter Cartridge

Within standard home water loops, the Puretec PL101 operates as a particulate interceptor to capture sand, silt, clay, and rust. This cartridge is specified for raw water clarification, enabling plumbing fixtures to stay clear. It is suitable for standard slimline filter housings and integrates with standard household ports.

The synthetic filter media consists of non-woven polyester fabric fibers pleated to maximize dirt accumulation. This multi-fold polyester media wraps around a solid polypropylene core that provides internal stiffness. The pleated end sections are sealed with thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC, which fuses the components into a unitized cap.

The physical dimensions of this model are 2.5 inches in diameter by 10 inches in length, featuring a nominal rating of 10 microns. It incorporates more than 4 square feet (0.37 square meters) of active filter media to trap incoming particles. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases the physical capture efficiency.

This model features a maximum flow capacity of 44 L/Min, providing filtration with low resistance. The rated operating temperature bounds are 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Thanks to the washable non-woven fibers, the cartridge incorporates a reusable design, allowing routine washing to extend service runs.
