Puretec PL201 Pleated Sediment 20 Micron 2.5" x 10" Water Filter Cartridge

Designed for rainwater clarification, the Puretec PL201 cartridge removes medium-sized physical impurities from your storage tank. This model is ideal for residential or farm water systems that require initial particulate reduction. It is suitable for standard slimline filter housings and operates under typical supply pressure.

At its physical center, the cartridge incorporates a non-woven polyester fabric medium folded into a pleated layout. This pleated fabric surrounds a solid central polypropylene core that provides structural stiffness under pressure. The cartridge ends are embedded in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC to form a unitized end cap gasket.

This cartridge has physical measurements of 2.5 inches by 10 inches and features a nominal rating of 20 microns. It incorporates more than 4 square feet (0.37 square meters) of active pleated media to catch incoming particulates. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases physical capture efficiency.

The cartridge operates at a maximum flow rate of 45 L/Min, retaining excellent hydraulic flow properties. It is rated for fluid temperatures from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Constructed with washable synthetic media, this model utilizes a reusable layout, enabling physical cleaning between filtration runs.
