Puretec PL202 Pleated Sediment 20 Micron 2.5" x 20" Water Filter Cartridge

Engineered for medium-grade particle extraction, the Puretec PL202 pleated cartridge operates in larger residential and commercial water lines. This 20-inch model provides physical filtration for sediment, rust flakes, and silt. It is suitable for standard slimline filter housings and is suitable for high-volume flow requirements.

Regarding construction, the cartridge incorporates a non-woven polyester fabric medium folded into multiple filtration pleats. This pleated media surrounds a solid polypropylene core that provides internal stiffness in 20-inch housings. The ends are sealed by embedding them in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC to block water bypass.

This 20-inch model measures 2.5 inches by 20 inches and operates with a nominal rating of 20 microns. It incorporates more than 4 square feet (0.37 square meters) of active pleated media to catch incoming particulates. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases physical capture efficiency.

This model features a maximum flow capacity of 90 L/Min, providing filtration with low resistance. The rated operating temperature bounds are 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Built with washable synthetic media, the cartridge features a reusable design, enabling cleaning between service runs to reduce costs.
