Suitable for high-sediment raw water feeds, the Puretec PL301 utilizes multi-fold pleated media to accumulate substantial physical particles. This cartridge acts as a primary filter to keep downstream carbon blocks from clogging. It is suitable for standard slimline filter housings and operates on municipal or bore supplies.

The core element consists of high-strength non-woven polyester fabric sheets folded into multiple pleat layers. This pleated polyester media is braced by an internal polypropylene core that provides structural stiffness. The end caps are formed by embedding the media ends in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC, creating a leak-free seal.

Measuring 2.5 inches in diameter by 10 inches in length, this model operates with a nominal rating of 30 microns. It incorporates more than 4 square feet (0.37 square meters) of active pleated media to catch incoming particulates. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases physical capture efficiency.

The filter performs at a maximum flow limit of 46 L/Min, providing filtration with low flow restriction. It operates in liquid temperatures ranging from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Featuring washable synthetic media, the cartridge features a reusable design, enabling cleaning between service runs to reduce costs.
