Puretec PL305 Pleated Sediment 30 Micron 2.5" x 5" Water Filter Cartridge

Specifically configured for space-restricted water filtration setups, the compact Puretec PL305 features a pleated design that removes physical sediment. This model is suitable for standard slimline filter housings, operating as a primary water filter for solid capture. Its short profile fits into compact spaces where standard cartridges cannot be housed.

For the construction, the filter media utilizes synthetic non-woven polyester fibers folded into a pleated arrangement. This pleated medium surrounds an internal polypropylene core that offers physical stiffness. To block bypass, the multi-fold pleated ends are immersed in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC, fusing the three components into a single unit.

With physical dimensions measuring 2.5 inches by 5 inches, the model operates with a nominal rating of 30 microns. It incorporates more than 4 square feet (0.37 square meters) of active filter media to trap incoming particles. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases the physical capture efficiency of the multi-fold pleated fabric.

Operating on cold-water supply networks, this cartridge handles a peak flow capacity of 20 L/Min. The specified temperature rating ranges from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F) for normal applications. Due to its washable polyester fibers, the filter features a reusable design, allowing cleaning between service cycles to extend its lifetime.
