Puretec PL30MP2 Pleated Sediment MaxiPlus 30 Micron 4.5" x 20" Water Filter Cartridge

The high-capacity 20-inch Puretec PL30MP2 sediment filter is suitable for broad filtration manifolds, capturing sand, silt, and rust. This large MaxiPlus model provides coarse sediment reduction in agricultural irrigation, commercial complexes, and domestic water mains. It is suitable for MaxiPlus filter housings and operates in high-volume systems.

The core filtration element utilizes coarse-grade non-woven polyester fabric folded into multiple wide pleated layers. This multi-fold media wraps around an internal polypropylene core that provides structural stiffness under pump pressure. The pleated ends are sealed by immersion in thermo-setting vinyl plastisol PVC, forming a unitized cap.

This cartridge measures 4.5 inches by 20 inches and provides coarse nominal filtration down to 30 microns. It incorporates more than 16 square feet (1.48 square meters) of active filter media to trap incoming particles. The structural overlap seam is sonically welded, which blocks internal water bypass and increases the physical capture efficiency.

The unit operates at a maximum flow rate of 190 L/Min, keeping clean pressure drop low during service. It is rated for liquid temperatures from 4.4°C to 51.7°C (40°F to 125°F). Built with washable synthetic media, the cartridge features a reusable design, enabling cleaning between service runs to reduce costs.
